Arthuan by =CharlieMacBell Talk about a photograph that really draws the viewers eye in and smacks it a few times with a huge "Here I am, look at me" statement, this image is just stunning! I am left without finding any words to describe this...other than "wow!"

Description

Arthuan is the celtic word for the winter solstice, the time of change and renewal. The time of awakening.

The perception for this is quite awe-inspiring.

The marble eye effect has been done beautifully and to get that right was merit enough for a DD, but the actual setting is just breath taking.

The balancing horizon against the almost perfect tree line, the depth of the field against the scattered clouds. That arc of light against the darkened sky along with cold blues really brings out the subtle tones of purples and pinks.

The parts of this I loved the most were the tracks in the field, they are what make it, some people would say their eyesore on it, but by no means are they right. The depth portrayed in the 'V' makes this piece breathe. It balances the entire piece perfectly and the sense of depth created, well you can see for yourself.

I never knew nature could be so perfect, I guess you were at the right place at the right time, or just the right artist.

Amazing job.
