Daydreamer by BriceChallamel Daydreamer by BriceChallamel
This photograph was taken 300 km north of Mexico City, in an abandoned hacienda lost in the middle of the mountains. It used to be the home of a great mezcal producer, and still has the flavor of uncanny day dreams...

Download the 1920x1280 full size file for screen background ;)

Model : ~LunedeSable

Equipment : Canon EOS 5D Mark II, 14mm lens, Nodal Ninja panoramic head and Gitzo Carbon 6X tripod

Post Production : Panoramic stitch, manual exposure blending and additional HDR processing, final adjustments on Photoshop CS5

Amazing capture, the surreal panorama effect really draws you in! :D At first I thought this was a photomanip, the model and the sky look so unreal, but I guess that's because of the HDR processing. :) It's an even better shot, considering it's actually "real". :horns:

Yes! I feel that it's too much luck the cloud, the place, everything. I should actually start manipulating instead of shooting! ;)

Thank you! I shoot panoramic with a 14mm lens and a full frame camera, which allows me to have the 360 sphere with 8 shots. Here I used 5 of them... ;)

They acutally are! And I love the little cloud in the upper right square of the center window. It's funny how things are because, even though of course I could have photoshopped all this, it's actually the clouds that were there. Nature's favor to us... ;)

Thank you for your kind comment! :cuddle:
